  1. Hi, I work as a geologist in the UK. Been doing it about 20 years now so I tend to be more in a supervisory and training role these days, but I still get out to observe some drilling work and check what's going on, particularly on the more complex projects. Just wondering if any of you have come across anything particularly interesting. Personally I've found plenty of nice big ammonites in the Gault Formation (Cretaceous) and I always like a drilling a borehole that crosses an unconformity. Where I commonly work we have an unconformity between the Triassic and the underlying Carboniferous - drilling across that boundary is always interesting.
