  2. I am interested in any recommendations of materials pertaining to evolution of viruses. When did first viruses appear? Obviously there would not be any fossil record but perhaps there are signs of organisms killed by viruses. Thanks Top
  3. First post here. I was thinking - since primitive single cell organisms do not mate, the usual species definition does not apply. What is the approach then? How does one observe speciation? Thanks.
