The question is rather, how would a management decide when, where, how exploit the said bacteria  to destroy those kind of plastics the bacteria is able to hydrolyze.
That is "engineering new generation", thinking innovation into appropriate environments and biological limits. Its a cultural and management jump-upgrade, so 20-40 years to change mentalities and ... engineering faculties. Probably the bacteria will have been forgotten because she is unable to know.
